Studs: Zack Greinke (PYB) improved to 11-4 by scattering 9 hits, allowing 2 runs (1 earned) and striking out 8 in 8 innings at Coors Field. Paul Goldschmidt (Rookies) hit his 30th double and his first triple. He drove in 2 and scored once.
Duds: Steve Cishek (FF) took the loss and allowed 2 runs in 1 inning thanks to questionable defense from Donovan Solano. Yasiel Puig (RMH) went 0 for 4 and committed his first error of the season.
Transaction: Ryan's Rangers activated 3B Nolan Arenado and sent Mark Reynolds to the bench.
