Studs: Clayton Kershaw (FF) allowed 2 runs and fanned 10 in a 7-inning win. Bartolo Colon (FF) allowed 3 runs and struck out 5 in a 6.2-inning win. More importantly, he blasted a 2-run homer — the first tater of his career. Unless you count potatoes. We figure he's had thousands of those in his career. Stephen Piscotty (HE) doubled, homered and scored 3 runs. Matt Carpenter (R21) doubled, hit a 2-run homer and scored twice. Aaron Hill (R bench) hit 3 homers — bringing his season total to 4 — and drove in 7. Who would have seen that coming?
