Week 6: Monday Roundup

Yeah, looks like a typical kid from Notre Dame.

Studs: Kris Bryant (CB) was a triple shy of the cycle, scored 3 runs, drove in 2 and walked. Matt Adams (FDD) homered twice and drove in 5. Scooter Gennett (FF) homered, doubled, scored twice and drove in 2. Odubel Herrera (SG) homered twice and drove in 5, scoring 3 times.

He may be the worst defensive center fielder in the game,
but Odubel Herrera can sure hit.

Duds: Jeff Samardzija (R) pitched as well as his hair looks: 5 runs and 3 whiffs in a 4-inning loss is the greasy mullet of pitching performances. Eric Hosmer (M) went 0-fer and was caught stealing. Evan Longoria (M) went 0-fer with an error. Brandon Crawford and HIS greasy mullet also put up a negative with a hit and an error. Bill's (PM) pitching continues to disappoint: Jarlin "The Marlin" Garcia allowed 7 runs and struck out 3 in a 4-inning loss, and Homer Bailey was only a tad better, giving up 6 runs and striking out 3 in a 4-inning loss.
