Week 6: Thursday Roundup

Don't bother looking it up: each guy in this picture is slashing .330/.450/.600. Even the dude in the orange shirt.
Studs: The Braves just keep on hitting. Freddie Freeman (R) had 4 singles, a homer and 2 RBIs. Ozzie Albies (R) hit a grand slam and finished with 5 RBIs. Ender Inciarte (BM) doubled twice, singled, scored, drove in a run and stole a base. In non-Braves news, Scooter Gennett (FF) was a triple shy of the cycle and drove in 3.

Duds: There weren't any official Duds on Thursday, so we'll pause to honor Drew Steckenrider, who managed to allow 6 runs and get 1 out in a "relief" appearance. He came in with 1 on and 1 out, got the first guy out, then walk, walk, grand slam, single, homer, single before exiting. Very impressive work.

A day late: We neglected to properly make fun of the LOL Mets for batting out of order Wednesday and costing themselves a double in a game they lost 2-1 in extra innings. So let's rectify that. Oh, Mets. Remember when they were 11-1? Well, they're 18-17 now.
