Cubs studs: The Cubs went off on the Marlins "baseball team" so they get their own section. Willson Contreras (BM) tripled twice - wha? - doubled, scored two runs and drove in one. Kris Bryant (CB) homered, doubled, drove in 2 and scored twice. Jose Quintana (CB) struck out 5 and allowed 1 run in a 6-inning win. Anthony Rizzo (PYB) homered, doubled twice and drove in 5. Addison Russell (AL bench) was a triple shy of the cycle, walked twice, scored twice and drove in 2.

Braves studs: Nick Markakis (FDD) continued his tear, homering, singling, scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Julio Teheran (AL) struck out 7 in 6 shutout innings for the win.

Other studs: There were no other studs. Just Cubs and Braves.

Duds: Matt Kemp (FF) walked and made an error. Ronald Acuna, Jr. (FDD) scored and erred.
