STUDS: Lorenzo Cain (M) went 3 for 4 with a homer, 2 doubles, 4 runs, 2 RBIs and a walk. It came against the Marlins, so it's only worth half the points. Preston Tucker (PYB) doubled twice, drove in 5 and scored. Kurt Suzuki (FF) went 3 for 4 with a homer, 2 doubles, 3 RBIs, 3 runs and a walk. In other words, it was a good day for the Braves against the LOLMets. Jon Lester (AL) got the win and struck out 7 in 6 shutout innings. Jake Arrieta (BM) made the Pirates look foolish, striking out 10 and picking up the win in 7 shutout innings.
DUDS: Jameson Taillon (PM) saw his run of excellence come to a crashing halt. He allowed 5 runs and fanned 3 in a 1.2-inning loss to the Phillies. Luke Weaver (SG) got roughed up, too. The Cubs lit him up for 6 earned runs in a 4-inning loss in which Weaver struck out 3. Willson Contreras (BM) and Starlin Castro (BM) went 1 for 4 with an error. Adam might just punch Mickey Mantle in the mouth.
