STUDS: Madison Bumgarner (R) finally earned his first win of the year - and it took facing the offensively inept Padres to do it! Congrats, Madison, for striking out 8 in 8 shutout innings. Eric Thames (PM) tripled, singled and drove in 3. Nolan Arenado (PM) homered, doubled and drove in 5. Ketel Marte (BM) homered, singled, scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Jon Jay (BM) had 2 doubles, 2 runs and 2 RBIs.
DUDS: Jose Pirela (PYB) - one of the offensively inept Padres - singled and erred. Chad Kuhl (PYB) was very uncool, allowing 8 earned runs and striking out 2 in a 2-inning loss.
