STUDS: Tyler Mahle (PM) allowed 2 runs and struck out 8 in a 6-inning win against the Tigers. Javier Baez (FF) tripled, doubled twice, scored twice and stole a base. Yadier Molina (M) bolstered his Hall of Fame case by homering twice and driving in 5.

DUD: Matt Carpenter (AL) went 0 for 2 with 3 walks and an error.

RAIN: The Brewers-Pirates game was postponed because of rain. A makeup date was not announced.
